Job:	Ph.D. Position Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Institut für Technische Thermodynamik We offer a Ph.D. Position in the field of developing new models for describing combustion in technical devices, i.e., I.C. engines and/or gas turbines. The successful candidate will work on the development, implementation and validation of novel computational models for describing the combustion process in reacting turbulent flows. Model testing will be done in close cooperation with another research group in Karlsruhe, doing CFD calculations of combustion engines. Some experience in computer programming is advantageous, as well as some mathematical skills. Salary will be according to the German TV-LE 13 tariff.
