Two Assistant, Associate or Full Professor faculty positions starting Fall 2019. Applicants must have a strong research program and an earned doctorate in information systems or a related field before August 31, 2019. Responsibilities include carrying out the research, teaching and service mission of the School. We are interested in candidates with a research record in at least one of the following areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Online Communities
  • Economics of Information Systems
  • Web Technologies and Digital Markets.

We will also consider individuals with a strong research record in other areas including, but not limited to, healthcare information systems, information assurance, cybersecurity, and data privacy and ethics.

The profile and stature of the UB School of Management is on the rise. The school has been ranked by the Financial Times, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report and The Wall Street Journal for the quality of its programs and the return on investment it provides its graduates. The MSS department faculty collectively possess expertise in the areas of health IT, extreme events, and IT resource management, amongst others.
