The Department of Physiology and Biophysics has an exciting new opportunity for a Research Scholar opening. Our group seeks highly motivated personnel to engage in neuroscience research at the laboratory of SUNY Distinguished Professor Dr. Zhen Yan. The main aim of Yan laboratory is to elucidate the epigenetic and synaptic mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and able to:
  • Contribute to existing projects as well as to lead new research projects.
  • Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, and train other lab members as needed.
  • Communicate study results in conferences.
