The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, California State University, Northridge invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions effective August 23, 2017. All areas of specialization in experimental physical and analytical chemistry will be considered for one position, and applicants from all areas of chemistry and biochemistry with track records of publication and funding in chemical education are invited for the other. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research would broaden current offerings in our department.
Successful hires will have primary teaching responsibilities in general chemistry as well as undergraduate and graduate courses in their specialties. Hires also will be expected to establish research programs involving undergraduate and M.S. students at CSUN and secure external funding. A Ph.D. is required for both positions and postdoctoral experience is preferred.
