Job Announcement – Position available 2018-2019

Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education at KING Faisal University – Hofuf – AlAhsa, is looking forward to hiring a person (Male) with the following specifications:
1. PhD. Holder in the field on Computer science or Educational technologies (Fulltime study).
2. At Least 4 years of experience in e-Learning implementation models
This experience should be in the following:
- Designing, Developing and implementing e-Learning Models for delivering Distance Education.
- Managing and standing on the problems of the integration of the LMS, Synchronous, Asynchronous, e-content Authoring and assessment systems to create qualified e- integrated learning environments.
- Coordinating the delivery of distance education and e-Learning services to stakeholders and provide technical services that meet best value requirements.
- Investigating and resolving technology problems that relate to e- learning models.
- Participate in Preparing and presenting reports, policies, procedures, QA reports, QA standards, providing advice and suggestions, as may be required and attend meetings of committees and other relevant bodies as required for successful implementation of e-learning and distance education.
- Inspire and enthuse stakeholders (students, faculty, community,..etc) in the potential and use of ICT to improve the achievement and experiences of learners.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert and trainer by presenting training workshops that enhance the staff’s knowledge of effective use of technologies in education.
3. This job is a full-time job under the regulations of KFU hiring policies and procedures.
4. The contract is for one year. (renewable under some conditions and regulations)>
5. The applicant’s English language should be very good.
