We are in an exciting period of growth and renewal at the University of Canberra and we have a new opportunity for an ambitious academic.
The Discipline of Environmental Science within the Faculty of Applied Science conducts research and provides education in Interdisciplinary Environmental Science and Management.
Research and postgraduate training is conducted through the Institute for Applied Ecology.
Applicants must have Ph.D.s and demonstrated capacity to design, coordinate and deliver innovative subjects in Plant Ecology, including Plant Biodiversity and Applied Vegetation Science.
The successful applicant will have the ability to establish a nationally competitive research program and supervise postgraduate students in Plant Ecology, with a particular focus at the broader spatial scale.
Early career researchers are encouraged to apply.
The position will be offered as a seven-year, full-time contract.
A continuing position may be secured by subsequent promotion to Associate Professor.
