The University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada), in collaboration with the Magnetic Resonance Research & Development Group of the National Research Council Institute for Biodiagnostics (NRC-IBD), invites applications for one Postdoctoral Position.
The research project will involve sequence development and implementation, as well as coil fabrication, to be used for parallel imaging, combined with non-Fourier encoding techniques, in MRSI.
The project will also involve the development and testing of multidimensional excitation RF pulses, using the multi-transmit tools.
The NRC-IBD is equipped with a research-dedicated Siemens 3T Tim-Trio horizontal bore scanner, equipped with multi-transmit capabilities.

A Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science or a related field is required.
The successful candidate must be adept at scientific computing and experience with MATLAB and C is desirable. Also, experience in IDEA language programming (Siemens) and in signal processing is beneficial, but not required.
