The Chemistry Department at the University of Central Florida anticipates hiring a 9-month, tenure-track Analytical Chemist, at the Assistant Professor rank.
Exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor rank may be considered and must have a demonstrated record of accomplishments in extramural funding, publication and teaching.
Candidates with research experience in separation science, chemometrics and mass spectrometry are especially encouraged to apply.
Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with specialization in Analytical Chemistry, from an accredited institution, at least two years of postdoctoral research and a demonstrated track record of research productivity. In addition to contributing to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, applicants are expected to develop an externally-funded, nationally-recognized research program.
The Chemistry Department at UCF offers B.S. Chemistry, B.S. Forensic Science, M.S. Industrial Chemistry, M.S. Forensic Science and Ph.D. Chemistry degrees.
