The Department of Biology at the University of Missouri -- St. Louis invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Cell and Molecular Biology, at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of Biology Faculty, as well as participate in a rapidly expanding interdisciplinary Biochemistry and Biotechnology program.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead an independent, externally-funded research program and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Research may be in any non-mammalian system and may include Cell or Molecular Biology, Genetics or Functional Genomics, Bioinformatics or Development.
Applicants must have Ph.D.s in an appropriate discipline, relevant postdoctoral experience, strong publication records and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
