Tenure-track Position in Analytical Chemistry or related cross-disciplinary area, available August 19, 2010.
Responsibilities: teaching Undergraduate and Graduate classes in preferred discipline, as well as teaching General Chemistry; and, developing an active research program in an area that complements the Department’s existing research programs and involves Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related area by August 19, 2010; evidence of potential for excellence in teaching; and, evidence of potential for excellence in research.
Preferred Qualifications: postdoctoral research experience; teaching experience at the collegiate level (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Instructor, Assistant Professor); and, research interests that focus on an area which complements the Department’s existing research programs.
