The Department of Chemistry and Geochemistry invites applications for an anticipated Assistant Professor position, starting in Fall 2010, with research interests and expertise related to any area of Electrochemistry, with particular consideration given to research related to Materials or Renewable Energy.
The successful candidate will teach courses in his or her discipline and will contribute to the Undergraduate curriculum in the Department.
The development of a strong, externally funded research program, involving the mentorship of Graduate Students in research, is expected.
Candidates must possess Ph.D.s in Chemistry or a closely related field by time of appointment.
Applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor must have the potential to become excellent teachers and scholars.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications abilities.
Postdoctoral experience preferred.
