We seeking a highly independent and skilled neuroscientist or biophysicist to join our efforts in Magneto-thermal Deep-brain Neuromodulation. The position requires management of a number of different projects, including nanoparticle preparation, optical and radiofrequence instrumentation development, rodent animal handling, behavioral studies and brain imaging.
Duties will include proposal and publication writing, mentoring of students in close consultation with principal investigator.
PhD in physics, neuroscience or engineering. Prior expertise in one of these areas is required: rodent behavioral neuroscience, optogenetics, nanoparticle neuro-interfacing, or in brain imaging. The candidate should have a strong publication record, a record of independent research, and excellent communication skills
