ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (tenure-track) in SYSTEMS BIOLOGY as it pertains to Environmental Change. We seek candidates whose research addresses any area of systems biology as related to natural or anthropogenic disturbances.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to obtain funding to support a vibrant research program in the candidate’s discipline and engage in undergraduate and graduate education by teaching courses in their area of expertise. The candidate is also expected to participate in relevant regional, national, and international research communities within their discipline.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have 1) earned a doctoral degree in Biological Sciences or related field, 2) demonstrates the ability and plans to obtain extramural funding, 3) a growing record of scholarship and publication in higher tier journals appropriate to the applicants’ field of study, and 4) demonstrates the potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants having postdoctoral or equivalent experience.
