I have an immediate opening in my group for a Postdoctoral Associate for work in the area of energy and electron-transfer and excited state dynamics in self-assembled structures using ultrafast laser techniques. The position involves working with a 1 kHz amplified Ti:sapphire laser system for transient absorption and fluorescence up-conversion, as well as a Nd:YLF pumped picosecond dye laser for TCSPC experiments. Experience using, tuning and maintaining ultrafast lasers is essential. Good communication and computer skills are also required. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal of one or more years based on mutual consent and continued funding.
