Job Description Summary
The
Complex Human-Environment Systems Lab in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment (
CFWE) at Auburn University is seeking a qualified individual for a 12-months postdoctoral fellowship. This is a limited-term, non-tenure track position with anticipated funding for up to two years. Continued employment is contingent on availability of funding and satisfactory performance. The individual in this position will be working on the development of an agent-based model, social and ecological data analysis, and publications.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in ecosystem modeling, remote sensing, or GIScience at time of employment. The individual should have skills in geospatial analysis and modeling, Python programming, and paper writing. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.
Desired Qualifications
Excellent oral presentation skills, willingness and capacity for learning new methods or tools, and interpersonal skills are desirable.
