Oversight for graduate teaching assistants to ensure laboratory courses have adequate materials and content for instruction. Maintenance of facilities and materials for lecture demonstrations and laboratory experiments. Supervision and guidance for graduate teaching assistants in effective instructional practices and techniques during Laboratory instruction.
Masters degree in Physics or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Experience in design and assembly of laboratory apparatus
Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing lab equipment
3+ years experience designing/maintaining physics demonstrations
1+ year experience managing personnel
Experience as large classroom instructor
Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to carry and/or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
