Second position: The Biology Department at Sultan Qaboos University is seeking a molecular population ecologist/ conservation biologist with experience in evidence-based conservation actions to inform environmental management and policy decisions. An ability to incorporate ecological genomics/genetics and spatial environmental analysis to the population biology of animals under natural and human-impacted conditions would be highly desirable. The applicant should also be able to teach courses such as population genetics, general genetics, molecular ecology and conservation biology at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
General requirements: Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field and at least 2-3 years of teaching experience and a record of publication in well-reputed international journals.
