Job Summary/Basic Function: The Toulouse Graduate School’s program in Advanced Data Analytics (ADTA) at the University of North Texas invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in Advanced Data Analytics. ADTA is a rapidly growing MS degree program providing leading edge education in the high-demand field of data analytics. The ADTA program is distinguished through a case-study approach in its curriculum developed through strong connections with regional businesses and industry.
The anticipated instructional need includes, but is not limited to, data analytics, applied statistics, and statistical learning. Candidates are expected to be effective instructors with experience teaching at the university level. Candidates will teach online as well as face-to-face classes at UNT’s New College in Frisco, Texas. Preference will be given to applicants with experience applying analytics in business, government, or science settings.
Candidates are expected to teach a course load of 3-4 courses per semester with the potential for course load reduction for scholarly and professional activities, program advising, course development, or other professional development and service activities. Actual course loads are assigned based on program needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree in Data Analytics/Science, Applied Statistics, or related quantitative/technical field.
Experience teaching at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience applying analytics in business, government, or science settings.
Experience teaching on-line courses.
