Two postdoctoral research positions are available in the lab of Prof. Emil Alexov (http://compbio.clemson.edu). The first one involves maintenance and further development of a popular software package, the DelPhi package http://compbio.clemson.edu/delphi , and associated resources. Prospective candidate is expected to have strong programming skills in C++ and to be willing to work in a team. Previous experience in Computational Biophysics/Chemistry is a plus, but not required. The second position is on a project that involves development of a method, an algorithm, and a software to predict the change of the binding free energy of protein-protein complexes due to amino acid mutations. The candidate should have experience either in Computational Biophysics/Chemistry or Machine Learning. The work involves manipulating large amount of data and computing various biophysical characteristics using in-house or third-party software.
