Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Cellular Metabolism

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to start in August 2023. We seek candidates with a research focus on cellular metabolism that will complement the activities of the Arkansas Integrative Metabolic Research Center at the University of Arkansas. This includes, but is not limited to, research in obesity, diabetes, cancer, development, aging, immunology, repair and regeneration, or any other biological processes related to metabolism. Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in cell and molecular biology or related fields and demonstrated research accomplishments are required. Successful candidates are expected to establish an extramurally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the university.
