The Department of Chemistry at Tufts University is seeking to hire a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor, or at the rank of Assistant Professor with clear potential for promotion to Associate Professor in under 3 years. Candidates should have a successful independent research program in any area of chemistry related to human health, broadly defined

The Chemistry Department at Tufts is a well-funded and accomplished community of researchers. The Chemistry Department and the greater University value collaborative and interdisciplinary research, and the new hire will complement continued growth in areas of research that improve human health. Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate courses in chemistry related to the candidate’s field of research. Qualifications

Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field and an established, independent research program in any area of chemistry with applications related to human health. Prior teaching experience and knowledge of modern, equitable teaching practices are preferred, but all candidates committed to excellence in teaching are encouraged to apply.
