Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Candidate should have skills in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, mouse handling, Westem blots and ELISA Assays.
Sets up experiments as prescribed by a principal investigator.
Participate in laboratory maintenance activities such as sterilization, cleaning of equipment, freezer and refrigerators, ordering of supplies, inventory and media preparation.
Maintains records, files and logs of work performed in laboratory notebooks and computer databases.
Compiles data and records results of studies for publications, grants and seminar presentations.
Qualifications
BS or Masters in a basic or health science or equivalent training.
Must be able to read, write and communicate science effectively
