The Division of Basic Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Dakota’s Sanford School of Medicine invites applications for Assistant Professor, educational track faculty position(s) in Basic Biomedical Sciences. Applicants should hold a PhD or terminal degree in Biomedical Sciences or closely related (specializations such as medical, pharmacy, veterinary are welcome to apply). Successful candidates will be expected to teach medical, professional, graduate, and undergraduate students in one or more of the following specialty areas: endocrinology and reproductive biology, human anatomy, cell biology, histology and embryology, biochemistry, microbiology, or pharmacology.

State-funded salary commensurate with experience and state-of-the-art educational facilities in the Lee Medical Science Building (Vermillion, SD) will be provided. Application should include a letter of application, a statement of teaching philosophy, a current curriculum vitae/resume showing teaching experience, and the names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses of three references that can specifically comment on the applicant’s teaching abilities.
