St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally ranked private Catholic liberal arts institution, invites applications for an Instructor of Biology. We seek candidates specializing in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or related fields who are ABD or hold a Ph.D. and are committed to developing a strong record of excellence in teaching within a liberal arts environment.
This is a one-year (2026-2027), non-tenure track position with the possibility of renewal, with a competitive salary, full benefits, and possible summer teaching opportunities. This is an on-site position, and regular attendance on campus is required.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for at least 2 courses, which have both lecture and weekly lab components each semester. Courses may include Anatomy & Physiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Medical Terminology, Introductory Biology, and other courses dependent on program needs and the successful candidate's interests and expertise. Candidates with experience in exercise science are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D., ABD, or Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching within a liberal arts setting and who have experience teaching college-level biology courses as the instructor of record.
