The Daniels lab in the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate. The Daniels lab studies the neurobiology of thirst and hunger. We use a combination of behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroanatomical tools to test hypotheses about the brain circuits responsible for thirst, hunger, and the behavioral and physiological responses to those biological states.
* Organize and implement research plans.
* Develop methods and experiments to test hypotheses in line with the research goals of the laboratory.
* Conduct tests, implement procedures, and engage in data collection.
* Analyze, evaluate, and present findings in professional journals and at professional conferences and meetings.
The University at Buffalo is the home of the UB Center for Ingestive Behavior Research. The center is made up of 18 laboratories at UB with interests in energy balance and ingestive behavior.
