The Department of Computer and Information Sciences offers undergraduate programs at Fordham’s Rose Hill campus in the Bronx and Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan, and offers graduate degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, and Cybersecurity at its Lincoln Center campus. The department has recently received approval of its application to the New York State Education Department to offer a Ph.D. program in Computer Science. Fordham University invites applications for one tenure track Assistant Professor Position in the Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) to start in Fall 2021. We welcome applications from all areas of computer science. Candidates in the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, systems, database, theoretic computer science, software engineering, and visualization are especially encouraged to apply.
The position requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields, a commitment to teaching excellence, good communication skills, and demonstrated research potential with the ability to attract external research funding.
