Louisiana Tech University invites applications for an instructor position in Chemistry. The hire should have experience in teaching general chemistry, including laboratory sections. The position may include setting up and teaching labs, maintenance and care of laboratory instrumentation, and associated tasks. Supervision of undergraduate Capstone research students is expected. The position will include teaching lectures in general chemistry, and possibly lectures within the candidate’s area of expertise.

Instructor candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field. Lecturer candidates must have an earned doctorate in chemistry or a closely related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong teaching skills, display a commitment to high-quality professional service, and will actively participate in college responsibilities.
