Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Tuskegee University is accepting applications for a full-time (yearly contract) STEM Coach/Math Instructor position in CAS Enrichment Program. Position is available beginning August 1, 2021.
Daily availability (loam to 7pm)
Provide individual and small group coaching and consultative services to assist STEM students developing skills to succeed academically
Mentor and work with diverse students in lower level math courses including Pre-calculus and
Algebra and Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry
Administer and grade lower level math make-up exams
Communicate regularly with CAS faculty, especially math faculty, to discuss students’ progress and determine strategies to improve the learning outcomes
Duties included, but not limited to the following:
Master’s degree in Mathematics is required
Two years of teaching experience/instruction at the high school or college/university level. Other expertise may also be considered
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have working computer knowledge and experience
Commensurate with education, training and experience
