The Institute for Lasers Photonics and Biophotonics at the University at Buffalo is seeking a
Postdoctoral Associate to conduct multidisciplinary research in the development of a point-of-care platform for sensing/monitoring illicit drug intake and on-demand drug delivery system as part of this treatment.
Job duties will include:
- On-site detection of opioid using functional nanocomposite derived microneedle platform. Drug-Delivery using a separate formulated microneedle platform. Integration of on-site diagnostic and Therapy using a single microneedle platform.
- Mentor and work closely with multiple Ph.D. and M.S. students as well as four principal investigators from different disciplines.
- Frequent oral and written reporting will be required.
