Successful candidates will contribute to a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that is undertaking investigations on development, testing, and translation of new proprietary medical biosensing devices from the laboratory to the clinic.
The hire will work closely with engineers, material scientists from ASU, and doctors from the Mayo Clinic Arizona. Specific job activities include – but are not be limited to – the analytical validation of new biomedical sensors and devices with gold standard reference equipment (96-well spectrophotometry, enzymatic analysis methods, chromatography); sampling and storage of biological samples; and testing of new sensors and devices in biological samples from clinical studies while comparing data to reference methods. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with people from a variety of different professional backgrounds.
