Postdoctoral research fellow positions are available in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China to work on the following research area:
- Perovskite Solar Cell
- Organic Solar Cell
- Organic thin-film transistor and related devices (sensors, electronic skins, organic ratchet etc.)
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative researchers with relevant experience are invited to apply the position.
- PhD degree in Material Science/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Physics/Chemistry or related field
- In-depth knowledge and skill in fabrication of solution-processed optoelectronic devices, or photophysics study on optoelectronic materials/devices, or perovskite crystal growth
- Proven ability to conduct research independently to achieve the goal
- A track record of high-quality publications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Less than 35 years old
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To conduct independent and collaborative research in accordance with the department’s direction
- To publish research papers in high impact factor journals/ conferences
- To prepare and write research grant
- To assist in daily operation and maintenance of lab
- To mentor undergraduate, master and PhD students
- To assist in organizing workshops and conferences

Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
The department of EEE is the first department established at SUSTech. It makes full use of its regional advantages, centers on industrial development trend and has its research directions covered all fields of electronic information science and technology as well as new interdisciplinary fields such as energy, environment and biology. The department has set up a team consisting of internationalized and high-level teaching staff.
