A fully funded PhD student position in chemical biology is open for the 2021 Fall semester in Dr. Shiyue Fang’s research group in the Chemistry Department of Michigan Technological University. The successful candidate will conduct research involving chemical synthesis of epigenetically modified DNA and RNA, and study the roles of the modifications in gene expression, protein synthesis and disease evolution.
