JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
A Post-Doctoral position in molecular neuroscience is available in Dr. Robert Dempski's laboratory, Dept. of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

The position is to study and characterize novel aspects of transition metal transport and homeostasis in human neuronal cells. These studies will include CRISPR, transport assays, and "omics" approaches. The research is part of a collaboration with Dr. Jose Argello's laboratory funded by the National Institute of Health, USA. The position requires a recent Ph.D., strong motivation and independence, and previous experience in some of the above-mentioned methodologies.
