The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology is an English-speaking and dynamic university in Japan. We are inviting applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions.

Applications are sought in two areas:
- Mathematical Sciences, including pure math, applied math, statistics, and data sciences. Any potential connections to the broad areas represented at OIST would be welcome.
- Energy and Sustainability, broadly defined. Interdisciplinary approaches complementing, as well as impactful energy solutions for sub-tropical islands are particularly welcome.
As a core part of our expansion plan and research vision, we seek to hire three tenure-track or tenured faculty members in each area.
