The Department of Economics invites applications to fill a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in September 2023. Applications will be considered from all candidates with research interests in econometrics with emphasis on the applied nexus, including applications of both existing and new econometric and data techniques. We are especially interested in candidates with research interests that complement the department’s existing strengths in applied research and fulfill the department’s aspirations for excellence in new research, teaching and advising in those areas.
Candidates are expected to develop an outstanding research program, provide excellent teaching in Statistics and Econometrics both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervise student research. Candidates should expect to receive their Ph.D. prior to the start of the appointment.
