Reporting to the Chairperson of Biology, the Laboratory Course Technician will work with faculty to organize laboratory materials for several courses, including introductory biology, microbiology, and additional courses as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepares media, cultures and solutions, and DNA sample amplification.
• Organizes and maintains adequate stocks of lab chemicals, lab supplies, cameras, and computers.
• Supervises student aids who act as teaching assistants.
• Other related duties as assigned.
August 1, 2022, start date preferred.
• Master’s degree and/or commensurate experience required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with common laboratory equipment.
