Job Description

The Department of Physics in the Charles V. Schaefer School of Engineering and Science at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position in the field of physics. Candidates will be considered for appointment at the rank of teaching assistant professor. Candidates with teaching and research experience in astrophysics are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates must have a PhD in physics or a closely related field and is expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful applicants are expected to develop new courses in physics and astrophysics. He or she is also expected to play a leading role in the physics education and outreach mission within the Physics Department.
