The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking to fill two nine-month tenure-track positions, beginning on August 16, 2024. Candidates in all areas of mathematics will be considered; rank is open and will be determined by candidate qualifications. The department has a PhD program and various MS programs, including a new MS program in Data Science. It has over 50 mathematicians/statisticians and more than 120 graduate students engaged in research in a wide variety of areas in mathematics and statistics. Auburn University’s strong research programs in a variety of areas present many opportunities for interdisciplinary research and for participation in its various multidisciplinary programs.
