The Department of Mathematics at the University of Missouri, Columbia, invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin Fall, 2022. Preference will be given to candidates in the areas of Algebra, Analysis or Geometry/Topology.

A doctorate in Mathematics or related field by August 15, 2022, is required. The department seeks candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching and have a vigorous research program.

Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, with a list of publications, at least four letters of recommendation, including one discussing teaching effectiveness, a research statement, and a teaching statement.
