The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work in the laboratory to synthesise the target molecules and to characterize them by standard spectroscopic techniques such as high field NMR.

• Interpret the data and show initiative in solving the problems that arise and in ensuring that the project moves forwards.

• Contribute to the general running of the laboratory as part of the team.

• Interact with other researchers and provide mentorship to juniors

Job Requirements: 

• A BSc degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline

• Experience in organic synthesis and related techniques
