We are looking for a Research Associate to join a team of highly motivated researchers in peptide and nucleic acid chemistry and drug discovery. The role will focus on the preparation, analysis and biological evaluation of oligonucleotide-peptide conjugates.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for peptide synthesis and conjugation of peptides with oligonucleotides;

Purify, analyze and characterize synthesized compounds;

Evaluate biological activity of prepared compounds using relevant cellular assays and microscopic techniques;

Manage resources, handle procurement and other related tasks.
Job Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in chemistry or related field

At least 3 years of relevant experiences in organic/medicinal chemistry / technical hands-on experience in multistep organic synthesis, chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, and bioassays

Familiarity with chemical safety and biosafety practices

Good written and oral communication skills

Proficiency in oligonucleotide/peptide synthesis, analysis and biological characterization, HPLC, NMR and mass spectrometry; Familiar with Chemdraw, CAS SciFinder, Office and other software.

Ability to work independently and in a team, develop solutions under strict timelines, have meticulous and eye for details / excellent organizational / time management skills, excellent presentation skills.
