JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty to teach BB 560/Methods of Protein Purification and Downstream Processing in our Online and Corporate Studies Division of the WPI Graduate School. Candidate must be geographically located in the Worcester area in order to deliver face-to-face skills-based labs (most likely on two weekends during the course) at WPI's Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center in Worcester MA.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Online Adjunct Teaching Professor will teach graduate-level BB 560/Methods of Protein Purification and Downstream Processing, https://www.wpi.edu/academics/calendar-courses/course-descriptions/17826/biology-biotechnology#BB-560, in either an open-enrollment online delivery format, or for one of our corporate cohorts. Corporate cohorts may have an online, blended, or face-to-face delivery method (in the proximity of WPI). This course requires face-to-face skills-based labs (most likely on two weekends during the course) at WPI's Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center in Worcester MA.
Start dates will vary by semester. Course is ten weeks in duration.
Ideal applicant will hold an advanced degree, preferably a PhD, in Biology, Biotechnology or a closely related discipline with significant practical experience in the relevant area, as well as having successful graduate teaching experience. Online teaching experience is a plus.
