Position Summary

The Pillon Lab is seeking a Research Technician III. The labs research program lies at the intersect of structural biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and RNA biology. The candidate will be expected to coordinate with others in the laboratory to carry out experiments that require their experience and high level of training to include routine and advanced laboratory procedures such as biochemical preparations, molecular biology procedures, and cell culture. They will assist in the training of other technicians in the laboratory on processes and procedures necessary for the project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher college level courses in biological sciences (preferred) or equivalent.
  • Four years of experience with biochemistry or equivalent laboratory work.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge in operating experimental and unique equipment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in biological sciences.
  • Two years of experience with RNA biology or structural biology laboratory work.

 

Physical Demands


Salary Range
$39,015 - $50,000
