Project description: 
This broad project looks into contemporary issues in Enterprise Application Design. It aims to find efficient solutions to deal with development and maintenance efforts, management, control, security and global governance and to bring new perspectives and opportunities for the most recent technology.

The candidate can profile to work on a large project involving Microservices, a custom smart IoT environment or Security addressing specific goals. The direction may include aspect-oriented software design, generative approaches, automation or data processing and decision making.
All successful candidates should have (or expect to have) a master’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related fields such as Informatics) and a background in software engineering with experience in enterprise application design and development. The candidate should have programming skills, ideally in Java EE, and be familiar with some of these technologies: Docker, AWS, OpenShift / Kubernetes, Reflection API or code-transformation. The candidate will work in a team with graduate or undergraduate students and co-supervise them. Good writing skills are expected to publish research manuscripts with the supervisor.
