Lecturer in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology

The University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources is seeking a full-time lecturer in terrestrial wildlife ecology. Successful applicants will have (1) applied skills relevant to terrestrial wildlife ecology (for example, conservation biology, wildlife habitat management, wildlife population ecology, or human-wildlife interactions), (2) demonstrated excellence in undergraduate instruction, (2) a passion for student mentoring, (3) a record of centering equity and inclusion in their professional endeavors, and (5) evidence of engagement with their academic community. This position is an exciting opportunity to train the next generation of environmental leaders with a community focused on providing a high-quality, student centered, applied course of study where students learn professional skills and disciplinary methodologies to tackle complex environmental issues.
