The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky invites applications for part-time instructors for the Spring 2023 semester. This position is temporary but instructors may be eligible for rehire as a part-time instructor in a future semester. Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry (or a related field) or have an M.S. in Chemistry (or a related field) with prior teaching experience. A commitment to teaching excellence is essential. Duties include teaching a general chemistry course in a large classroom setting and related activities such as helping students during office hours, writing exam questions, and proctoring exams on Thursday evenings.

This information will be utilized to solicit recommendation letters from your references within the employment system.
