Department Summary
The Department of Mathematics has 25 tenure system faculty, 13 lecturers, about 60 graduate students, and 220 majors. Our graduate degree offerings include a Ph.D. in Mathematics as well as M.A. and M.S. degrees. Undergraduate offerings include B.A. and B.S. degrees in Mathematics, with or without teacher certification. Additional information about the department is available at math.unt.edu.

Position Summary
The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas invites applications to fill a 3-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall 2022. The teaching commitment is two courses in the first year, and three courses in the second and third year. Successful candidates will be paired with faculty mentors with whom they have compatible research interests.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Mathematics or Statistics.
