A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Computer Science or a related field with at least three years of post-qualification experience; or a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) (NQF Level 8) in Computer Science or a related field with at least six years post-qualification experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with strong managerial/organisational, technical and training skills. Ability to be innovative, self-driven with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment to meet set targets.
Coordinate and manage the Centre, liaise with various stakeholders such as industry, academia and the government. Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for the Centre’s offerings to industries, universities, government and the public. Undergo intensive technical training and conduct training in one of the Centre’s three core areas: Cyber Security, Big Data and Software Development. Based on excellent performance, the Deputy Centre Head should be able to assume the position of Centre Head.
