The primary purpose of the position is to manage the Bacteriology/Mycology diagnostic service laboratory in the department. Management of the laboratory includes personnel management, ordering of supplies, serving as point-of-contact for research projects, maintaining laboratory compliance, and oversight of repair/maintenance of critical equipment.
