(2) neutron active interrogation
(3) advanced detection concepts for nuclear forensics
(4) sensitive tritium detection
(5) remote sensing with ultrafast lasers
(6) intense laser-based radiation sources.
Highly motivated and productive candidates for postdoctoral positions who recently obtained their Ph.D. in nuclear engineering, physics, or electrical engineering are encouraged to contact Prof. Jovanovic with a resume and a statement of research objectives and career group goals. Of particular interest are individuals with research experiences involving radiation detection and laser science, and with interest and qualifications for obtaining a faculty or national laboratory position. The position also offers an option to transition to a research faculty position at the University of Michigan.
